This workshop is intended for beginners who may have some basic craft skills.

You will learn how to make a basic Japanese style stab-bound A5 size book with approximately 20 pages, book-cloth covered end-boards and decorative endpapers. The book will be bound with silk thread.

The range of materials and tools necessary are widely available and you will be given practical information as to where they can be purchased.

By the end of the workshop you will have produced your own, hand bound A5 size book.
